From Shannon to Casablanca – Dakar 2026 B737-800 Special Livery

We’re delighted to share another recently completed project from Aviation Graphix – the manufacture and installation of this striking Dakar 2026 special livery on a Boeing 737-800.

Delivered in collaboration with our long-term partners LXM Aero, the project combined the capabilities and experience of both companies to meet a particularly demanding turnaround.

Aviation Graphix was responsible for the complete manufacture of the aircraft graphics package, produced at our EASA Part 21G-approved production facility in Shannon, Ireland.

The extensive rear-fuselage design incorporated a complex graduated green colour scheme, detailed African-inspired background artwork, Dakar 2026 branding and the Youth Olympic Games mascot.

Following artwork preparation, production, finishing and kitting in Shannon, the complete graphics package was shipped to Casablanca, Morocco, for installation.

Aviation Graphix then deployed four specialist aircraft graphics installers, joining the LXM Aero team to form a six-person installation crew.

With aircraft downtime tightly controlled, the installation was completed within an impressive three-day turnaround.

Projects such as this demonstrate the end-to-end capability Aviation Graphix provides to airlines, MROs, lessors and aviation partners worldwide – combining EASA Part 21G aircraft graphics manufacture with experienced installation teams capable of deploying internationally at short notice.

They also demonstrate the value of strong industry relationships. We’re delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with LXM Aero, bringing together the expertise and resources of both organisations to deliver complex projects against demanding operational schedules.
