Portec has announced the appointment of Dominic D “Don” Cuzzocrea as president and chief executive officer effective immediately.
As the president and CEO of Portec, Cuzzocrea will be responsible for all corporate operations. During his career with Saleen, Trim Systems and Starcraft, Cuzzocrea led the design of key products and developed cohesive strategies that led to significant growth.
Most recently, Cuzzocrea was employed for over twelve years by Accubuilt, a manufacturer of diverse commercial vehicles, as president and CEO and subsequently as executive consultant to the chairman, specialising in marketing and sales issues. Mr Cuzzocrea brings extensive manufacturing and marketing experience as well as proven leadership skills to the conveyor manufacturer.
