Special Mobility has received orders from Omniserv for the renewal of its PRM (passengers with reduced mobility) service contract.

New e-Mobby wheelchairs, Mobby wheelchairs and luggage Mobby were included in the order.

The new generation e-Mobby can drive with two or even three passengers and can connect and disconnect the attached Mobby wheelchairs without the passenger having to step out of the chair.

This is designed to improve the passenger experience.

The new Multimobby PRM buggy for seven passengers with advanced safety features was ordered as well.

Heathrow is also planning to replace its fleet of PRM buggies with Special Mobility Multimobby.

The first delivery of 4 Multimobby units was on 13 August at T5 Heathrow Airport.
