The seven-year mandate includes raptor trapping and banding, as well as other wildlife management tasks. FALCON has sent an experienced biologist and wildlife control officer to launch the project.

“We are building an amazing partnership with YYC, they understand the importance of teamwork,” says FALCON COO Rob Shevalier. “As leaders in the field and masters of the sky, we believe in earning the trust of our customers. We put our hearts into protecting wildlife and the environment while safeguarding human life.”

“Sustainable wildlife management at YYC and on the airfield is essential for the safety of our guests and staff,” said People, Risk, and General Counsel vice-president Carmelle Hunka. “We look forward to our partnership with FALCON, contributing to our existing wildlife program goals of caring for, monitoring, and managing animals and plants in their natural habitat.”
