Eurocopter and French airborne systems integrator ATE have partnered to design, develop, manufacture and sustain a modern, stand-alone weapon system (SAWS) for Eurocopter’s light and medium helicopter products.
This modular system is currently on display on an AS550 Fennec light military helicopter on Eurocopter’s stand at the 2009 Paris Air Show.

The Eurocopter / ATE-designed SAWS consists of a core part with a mission and firing control computer and offers a choice of sensors, and guided and unguided weapons.
