Emirates Airlines has received an A380 aircraft from Airbus.

The airline will use the plane to meets its expansion plans and traffic demand, according to Emirates engineering and operations executive vice-president Adel Al Redha.

The aircraft will add to the air carrier’s fleet, which includes seven A380s.

The A380 is a twin-aisle, twin-deck aircraft designed to seat up to 525 passengers and fly up to 8,200nm.
