The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has placed an order worth $7.6bn for 52 Airbus A320 family aircraft and 43 Boeing 737 family aircraft.

RBS’s aircraft-leasing unit, RBS Aviation Capital, placed the aircraft order at the Farnborough Air Show in the UK, according to Reuters.

The 95 aircraft will be delivered between 2010 and 2015, and will be leased to RBS Aviation Capital’s airline customers across the world.
