Two Embraer 190 jets have been delivered to Gulf Air, under a newly ratified agreement with Jetscape, an aircraft leasing company based in Florida, US.
The aircraft, configured in a dual-class layout, is equipped with individual in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems for maximum cabin convenience.

Embraer executive vice-president airline market Paulo César de Souza e Silva said that Gulf Air will be able to combine the 96-seat Embraer 190s on its mid-density routes with conventional 130 to 160-seat narrowbody aircraft on high-density routes.
Jetscape’s chairman and CEO John Evans said that Gulf Air becomes Jetscape’s first Embraer 190 customer in the rapidly growing Middle East aviation market.
