Eurocopter’s Indian subsidiary has received orders for three helicopters including an AS350 B3e, an EC135 and an EC155 from corporate customers at the 2012 Aviation show in Hyderabad.
The AS350 B3e was ordered by GR Constructions for business use and the company has also signed agreements with two undisclosed customers for an EC135 and an EC155 for corporate travel.

Eurocopter India CEO, Xavier Hay, said: "Business aviation is one of the key segments that is driving the growth of the helicopter market in India."
"We will continue to work on developing other segments as well, such as emergency medical services, law enforcement, utility and aerial work," Hay said.
Eurocopter said that the helicopters will be delivered in corporate configuration within this year.
The AS350 B3e is an enhanced version of the company’s Ecureuil family of helicopters and is powered by a Turbomeca Arriel 2d turbine engine to offer a maximum speed (Vne) of 287km per hour, as well as a maximum endurance of four hours and 23 minutes.

By GlobalDataEC135 helicopters are powered by dual Turbomecca Arrius 2B2 or Pratt&Whitney PW206B2 engines and have a fast cruise speed of 254km per hour.
The helicopters have a maximum range of more than 620km and a seating capacity of six passengers in corporate configuration, while the EC155 can seat up to nine passengers.
