In order to assist the transfer of Gulfstream jets into the region, the pilots will work closely with clients and local aircraft management firms.
Gulfstream sales and marketing senior vice president Scott Neal said that the company’s operators in Asia can leverage the collective experience of its pilots, who will work with the aircraft management companies to ensure aircraft delivery and entry-into-service are as smooth as possible.
Pilots will also help in the transfer of aircraft to and from the US, offer entry-into-service flying for customers and support air shows in the region.
Gulfstream selected Hong Kong to set up the new department because of its central location as it provides access to India, Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
