Uzbekistan Airways has received the first of ten Airbus A320 ordered as part of its strategic fleet modernisation programme.

The aircraft has been configured as a two-class cabin layout to seat 150 passengers.

Powered by CFM-56 engines, the A320 is equipped with the latest design and technological improvements contributing to lower fuel burn and emissions.

The Uzbekistan Airways A320 made its first commercial flight on 19 July 2010 from Tashkent to Baku.
