CFM International expects to deliver at least 1,200 engines in 2010, according to Snecma chief executive Philippe Petitcolin.

CFM, jointly owned by GE and Snecma, delivered 1,263 engines in 2009.

Petitcolin told Reuters that deliveries were in line with forecasts.

“At this stage of the year, we expect to be able to deliver more than 1,200 CFM engines in 2010,” he said.

CFM is the sole engine supplier for Boeing’s 737 aircraft. It also fits engines for Airbus and has developed engines for Sukhoi’s Superjet 100.
