The ILA Berlin Air Show begins today at Schoenefeld Airport, Germany, with delegates from all major aerospace companies exhibiting the latest developments.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel will be attending the opening ceremony, which includes a flying display from some of the highlights of this year’s exhibition.
The show will run between 8 and 13 June and will feature display flights from the EADS A-400M, an Airbus A380, the Eurofighter and various aerobatic teams.
Workshops and conferences will also take place in Berlin covering areas including global security, innovative materials and the environment.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will also be holding its annual general meeting at the event.
