The world’s aviation leaders will meet at the 66th International Air Transport Association (IATA) annual general meeting and world air transport summit in Berlin today.

The leaders will discuss the industry’s strategy for climate change in the aftermath of the Copenhagen talks and in preparation for COP-16 in Mexico at the AGM, which runs until 8 June.

Consolidation and the provision of commercial freedom to the industry for profitability and effective international approaches to security will also be considered.
