Boeing has selected Monarch Aircraft Engineering as a maintenance, repair and overhaul partner for its GoldCare service offering for the 787 Dreamliner.
Monarch will provide scheduled maintenance operations for the Boeing 787 fleet, including regularly scheduled maintenance such as A, B, C and D checks, but will not provide line maintenance.
The firm has maintenance facilities at Manchester International Airport and London Luton Airport in the UK, and is approved by European and US authorities for operations.
Boeing leads a global GoldCare team for comprehensive material management, engineering and maintenance services at a predictable cost based on flight hours.
GE Aviation, Hamilton Sundstrand, Honeywell, Moog, Panasonic and Rockwell Collins form part of the GoldCare team.
