Boeing will deliver two 777-300ER aircraft to Angola’s TAAG Linhas Aereas de Angola (Angola Airlines) for $544m, under a new contract.

The order includes purchase rights for two additional 777-300ER jetliners.

TAAG, the flag carrier for Angola will use the aircraft to expand its routes to additional European destinations.

The air carrier currently flies Boeing 777-200ERs from Luanda in Angola to Lisbon Portugal; Beijing, China; Dubai, UAE; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The twin-engine, twin-aisle plane can fly 365 passengers in a three-class configurations up to 7,390nm.
