Hong Kong Airlines has finalised orders for six A300-200 aircraft from Airbus to confirm a memorandum of understanding signed at the Singapore Airshow earlier this year.
The aircraft, powered by PW 400 engines, will bring the total number of A330s ordered by the airline to 23.
The A330s will initially be deployed on the carrier’s existing routes and will later fly on its first services to Europe.
With a seating capacity of 293 passengers, the A330-200 has a range of 7,250nm and flies at a maximum speed of Mach 0.86.
