The new-generation GLONASS satellite-K being developed by ISS Reshetnev is undergoing ground tests.

The GLONASS-K will broadcast a new CDMA radio frequency design to enhance compatibility with GPS.

Reshetnev has developed two full-sized engineering and qualification GLONASS-K model spacecraft for thermal vacuum and dynamic tests.

The first GLONASS-K satellite is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2010.
