The Sukhoi Superjet 100 has received approval for its fabrication methods from the Interstate Aviation Committee aviation register certification centre, NORMA.
Seating up to 98 passengers in a single-class configuration, the SSJ 100 can fly up to 2,460nm at Mach 0.78.
The approval comes as a part of the SSJ100 type certification campaign and confirms compliance with Russian aviation requirements.
The approval verifies design documentation requirements and fabrication methods, including production implementation, production processes and equipment, to ensure consistently high production quality.
The process aims to enhance the safety and reliability of aircraft operation.
