A developing nation in the APAC area is set to benefit from the Australian company's 30 years of expertise in air traffic planning and best practice.

Aviation traffic management company and safety specialist Air Traffic Solutions (ATS) has announced a partnership with a department in the Australian government. The Brisbane-headquarted firm has been engaged by the department to provide specialised aviation support to a developing Asia Pacific nation.

This support includes assistance with:

  • aviation regulations
  • meteorology information
  • air navigation services
  • PANS OPS design
  • aeronautical information management

ATS will establish a permanent, in-country presence in the developing nation throughout the first half of 2021, and also have the full support of the team at HQ.

Mike Lockwood, founder and CEO of ATS, commented: “We will be giving this the very best ATS has to offer in order to establish best-in-practice aviation practices here for the benefit of the country and its people. Our experts will rotate through the country providing valuable knowledge transfers to the country’s regulator and all its aviation service providers.

“We are so pleased at this contract award, as it shows the capabilities and industry respect that the ATS team has gained in our work supporting our clients around the world.”
