Global airline alliance Star Alliance and digital engineering and technology solutions provider Nagarro are redefining customer journeys with two new digital initiatives.

As part of their digital transformation venture, the parties have announced an upgraded flight-and-fare search user interface (UI) and a single biometric facial recognition system.

During their six years of partnership, the companies have established several solutions to enhance the customer experience.

Star Alliance digital and technology services director Jeremy Drury said: “We enjoy a long-term partnership with Nagarro, as they have always understood our needs and have always delivered the right solution.

“In the world of technology, it is easy to get caught up in the complexity of things, but with Nagarro, there is always more focus on the result, the destination, and how it will better our operations.

“The importance and mutual benefits of this relationship have been proven once more during Covid-19.”
