The company will initially deploy departure control systems and a common-use platform to allow multiple airlines to connect and use the same check-in and boarding infrastructure.

A total of 1,041 check-in and boarding workstations and around 90 automated passenger access control touchpoints will also be implemented to allow self-service validation of boarding passes against travel documents.

Airlines utilising the airport will also use SITA’s baggage management technology to track bags at every stage of the journey.

Using SITA’s airport management solution, İGA will be able to centralise flight data information collected from all airport systems.
