Ontario International Airport (ONT) in the US has opened the second of two premium Escape Lounges in Terminal 4.
The new Escape Lounge occupies nearly 2,800ft² area in Terminal 4, which serves American Airlines and Southwest Airlines and is accessible for all air travellers.
ONT opened the first Escape Lounge in Terminal 2 in January this year.
The Escape Lounges are open to all passengers and provide a range of amenities, including hot and cold food and beverages, plush and relaxing seating, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Spaggi’s owner and executive chef Henry Gonzalez develops menu offerings for the ONT lounges.
Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) CEO Mark Thorpe said: “The Escape Lounges truly add a new level of comfort with a distinct local flavour to the ONT experience.
“Chef Henry has been dishing creative food options focussing on locally sourced ingredients for two decades and his culinary imagination is sure to generate rave reviews among our airport customers.”
MAG USA designed, built and is operating both of ONT’s common-use Escape Lounges as part of an agreement approved by OIAA for a period of ten years.
Escape Lounges are part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection. They give complimentary access to members of American Express Platinum Card, along with two guests to all locations in the US.
MAG USA president and CEO Martin Jones said: “We are thrilled to open our second Escape Lounge at Ontario International Airport. ONT should be commended for their commitment to offering travellers a truly premium airport experience.”
Escape Lounges are also located in Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, Oakland International Airport, Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Bradley International Airport, Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, and TF Green Airport.
