Antigua and Barbuda’s VC Bird International Airport is to have a $47m terminal built, which will be funded by the Chinese Government.
The new 17,000 square metres terminal building will be capable of handling one million passengers.
The facility will be fully air conditioned and feature lifts, escalators, three jet bridges, two VIP lounges and additional space for immigration and security personnel.
Construction work will start next month and be completed by December 2013.
