Passenger traffic at Singapore Changi International Airport rose by 12.5% to 3.82 million in September 2011 compared with September 2010.

The airport also recorded a 16.4% increase in aircraft movement during the month to 25,500.

Changi handled 154,400t of cargo in September 2011, an increase of 2.2% year-on-year.

During the first nine months of 2011, the airport handled 34.2 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%

Changi airport reported a 13.8% increase in aircraft movements to 221,900 during the first nine months of 2011, while cargo volumes increased by 2.5% to 1.38 million tonnes.
