Collinson Group subsidiary Airport Lounge Development (ALD) and Switzerland-based aviation services provider Swissport have partnered to open a new lounge, Club Aspire, at London’s Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 (T3).
Set to open doors to customers from next month near Gate 9, Club Aspire has been designed to cater to the needs of business travellers, including Priority Pass, Lounge Key and Lounge Club members as well as paying guests.

Capable of accommodating more than 120 passengers, Club Aspire will provide free Wi-Fi, desk areas with charging points, a dedicated snooze area with lounger seats, a quiet zone and multimedia tables.
It will also feature on-site showers, toilet and baby change areas as well as a complete Bliss spa. Additional offerings include a range of dining and drink options as well as speciality teas and coffees.
Swissport Travel Services director Shaun Weston said: “Swissport’s lounge offerings have grown steadily in popularity with the Aspire brand since it launched in 2012, and now covers many global destinations.
“The opening of ‘Club Aspire’ gives us a presence in one of the world’s most popular airport terminals and is another step forward for Swissport and the Aspire brand.”

By GlobalDataClub Aspire is the second lounge to be launched as part of a joint venture partnership between ALD and Swissport.
Last year, the partnership saw the opening of an independent lounge and spa, Aspire, at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
Currently, ALD operates 12 airport lounges in the US under the Club brand, while Swissport has 14 lounges across the world under Aspire brand.
