The Netherlands Antilles Air Traffic Control (NAATC) is to implement NAVCAN air traffic management technology to manage critical flight data online for its daily operations.

NAATC will use NAVCANstrips and NAVCANsitu, which are designed to provide fast and reliable access to critical airport, tower and terminal air traffic control information.

The technology will be installed at two towers, Curacao and Bonaire, and NAATC’s air traffic control centre in the Curacao Flight Information Region.

NAVCANstrips allow air traffic controllers to manage flight data online without requiring traditional paper flight strips, while NAVCANsitu provides terminal and ground surveillance from ground to air.

NAATC will also install NAVCANlink, which will provide an at-a-glance summary of core operational information to facilitate collaborative decision-making among airport, terminal and operations staff.
