Australian activewear brand Lorna Jane has opened a wellness lounge Lorna Jane Active Living Room at the T2 Domestic terminal of the Sydney Airport.
The lounge offers a dedicated airport space for the passengers where they can engage in yoga or strength sessions, stretch or enjoy snack before boarding their flight or after arrival.
The new centre is a part of the refreshed domestic terminal and is aimed to meet the changing requirements of the modern travellers.
Lorna Jane founder and chief creative officer Lorna Jane Clarkson said: "We are thrilled to partner with Sydney Airport and provide passengers with the opportunity to exercise, stretch and nourish with healthy food before boarding their flight and ultimately be healthier and happier.
"People are more mindful of their health than ever before so it makes sense to bring our Active Living Room concept to Sydney's T2 Domestic terminal and provide passengers with the opportunity to put their health first, even when travelling."
Sydney Airport Retail general manager Glyn Williams said: "The Lorna Jane Active Living Room is a global airport first for Sydney Airport and the unique health and wellbeing offering forms part of our wider improvements program designed to create an enhanced airport experience for passengers.
"The new space affords our passengers an opportunity to experience a greater sense of wellbeing within the airport environment.
"Concepts like the Lorna Jane Active Living Room directly address the growing needs of the modern traveller for an increase in healthy food options, enhancing value and choice, and we're excited to have them on board at Sydney Airport."
The lounge is located at the airport's T2 Departures and allows free entry to the Lorna Jane Active Living Rewards Members.
Guests can also have access to the facility which offers healthy treats from the country's prominent health food providers, the airport authority said.
Sydney Airport is the first in the world to house the Lorna Jane centre.
