"Today’s flight tests were a great success and allowed us to collect valuable data that will be critical to our development of parafoil systems for military and commercial applications."

Logos Technologies developed the tactically expandable maritime platform (TEMP) UAV to further develop its flight control approach for delivering supplies to dispersed units.

The TEMP is equipped with a parafoil system, which comprises a fabric wing with an aircraft fuselage.

The parafoil system is claimed to provide increased safety over traditional UAVs, and is capable of carrying substantial loads for its weight class.
