Jacobs Engineering Group has secured a contract to provide project and construction management services for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA).
Under the terms of the seven-year contract, Jacobs Engineering will support LAWA’s Landside Access Modernisation, Airline / Tenant Improvement and Capital Improvement programmes at California’s Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

LAWA has initiated the planning and development of more than $14bn in capital improvements at LAX to meet the anticipated traffic growth and enhance passenger services.
Jacobs Engineering Group Buildings and Infrastructure and Industrial president Bob Pragada said: “Jacobs has partnered with LAWA for the past 15 years, delivering both airside and landside projects.
“Around the world, we’ve worked in collaborative roles for several major terminal and runway expansion projects and we look forward to contributing our proven expertise to help implement this programme and solidify LAX as one of the great airports of the world.”
As part of the project, the company will provide LAX with a wide range of project and construction support services to deliver several programmes from definition to construction and final closeout.
