Iraq to carry out $50bn airport development projects

Iraq is to spend $50bn on airport development projects over the next few years to enhance the nation's airport facilities.

Iraq is to spend $50bn on airport development projects over the next few years to enhance the nation's airport facilities.

The government will also invest $150bn in an infrastructure programme related to airports, sea ports and railways.

Iraq will focus on airport expansion projects at Erbil International Airport, Kirkuk International Airport and Baghdad International Airport.
