Hebei Aviation Investment Group has signed an agreement with Commercial Aircraft of China (Comac) to buy ten Comac ARJ21 regional jets.
The estimated value of the deal is $30m, and the aircraft will be operated by Hebei Aviation Investment Group’s majority shareholder Hebei Airlines.

Comac has also signed an agreement with the Hebei provincial government to set up a customer service support centre in the province.
The company has received 340 orders for the ARJ21 with the first aircraft scheduled to be delivered to Chengdu Airlines next year.
