The new time-saving, cost-effective ADS-B solutions will be available through selected partners within Garmin's authorised dealer network,
They can be integrated with existing equipment, such as traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) systems and aircraft transponder control heads.
Garmin aviation marketing and sales vice-president Carl Wolf said: “For nearly two decades, Garmin has been the leader in ADS-B with the most fielded solutions in the industry and today we are leveraging this experience by bringing a variety of cost-effective ADS-B solutions to thousands of business aircraft owners and operators.
“Together with our partners, we are excited to provide an ADS-B upgrade path to a wide-range of aircraft that are individualised to each airframe, so many business aviation operators have an easy and economical solution to achieve airspace modernisation initiatives.”
The company also noted that its ADS-B solutions are available in various configurations and can be customised for individual aircraft.
Garmin’s ADS-B solutions are currently certified and available for use in aircraft models, including the Learjet 20 series, the Cessna Citation 650, the Hawker 750, the Beechjet 400A / Hawker 400XP, the Gulfstream G150/G200, and the Falcon 20/50/200/900.
