Future Fibre Technologies (FFT) has secured a multi-million dollar contract to install fibre optic, perimeter intrusion detection systems at a civilian airport in the Middle East.

This project comprises multiple perimeters spread across 50km.

Under the contract, the system will seamlessly integrate into third party security systems, and operate in an environmentally demanding, high security environment.

The system can cover up to 80km from a single location, requires no power in the field, is ideally suited for the harsh Middle East environments, and can easily integrate with many advanced security management systems.
