ERV UK and airport media specialists Eye Airports have launched a fully mobile, last-minute travel insurance product, ERV Go, at London Gatwick Airport.
By using the latest technology in digital advertising boards, ERV Go is available across multiple devices offering passengers the chance to purchase travel insurance right up to the point they board the plane.

The latest technology in digital advertising boards offers programmable advertising with the addition of advanced mobile device tools such as QR, near field communication (NFC), text (SMS) and Wi-Fi.
Eye Airports Business Development director Tim Hufford said: "This collaboration offers great synergy between out-of-home and mobile to support the campaign’s objectives.
"Benefiting from the unique advertising environment and the opportunity to engage passengers immediately before boarding, ERV are able to capitalise on reaching customers when no other environment can."
ERV UK e-Commerce manager Steve Dodd said: "From initial concept, it was clear that ERV Go demonstrated our innovation, not limited to just product but also through distribution and point of sale.
"Our aim is to protect our customers, therefore providing the ability to purchase a travel insurance product via a mobile device, at the very last minute, strongly supports our ethos."
Developed by Firemelon to integrate with their Magenta back office systems, the new last-minute travel insurance product reduces the cost of purchasing insurance by removing some of the cancellation period to 14 days, which enables customers to purchase just before departure without paying for cover not required due to the reduced chance of the trip being cancelled.
