Netherlands's Eindhoven Airport has developed a new airport operations website, in association with the Alderstafel advisory committee.

Implemented under an agreement with Alderstafel, the website will provide accurate information about the airport, using tools such as Brüel & Kjær's WebTrak and WebTrak MyNeighbourhood. These provide the community with information about their local airport's complaint handling process, noise measurements, answers to frequently asked questions and a better understanding of airport operations.

"Brüel & Kjær was selected for its long experience of airport noise management and our successful working relationship so far."

Eindhoven Airport CEO Joost Meijs said: "Brüel & Kjær was selected for its long experience of airport noise management and our successful working relationship so far.

"Brüel & Kjær's airport noise and operations monitoring system (ANOMS) and WebTrak represent the latest in available technologies and we are looking forward to using them to work more directly with our stakeholders."

The world's first public airport operations tool WebTrak MyNeighbourhood allows the local residents to investigate noise and flight information, including long-term trends and seasonal changes.

The tool also offers certain drill down capabilities, which reveal further information about flights and noise, and also provides an easy way to lodge complaints.

Brüel & Kjær European sales manager Kent Espersen said: "We are very happy to extend our working relationship with Eindhoven Airport to help them as they move into greater collaboration over environmental, noise and sustainability issues."

Eindhoven Airport has been using Brüel & Kjær noise management system for complaint handling and noise reporting and for over ten years.
