Delta is building two indoor LED displays ar Port Columbus International Airport in Columbus, Ohio, US.

The two displays will feature Delta’s fine-pitch LED screens, which measure 13.44m wide and 4.32m tall and have a total resolution of 4,480 x 1,440.

The high-definition screens will display flight information from 52 ticket counters, as well as emergency messages, airport and baggage information, and commercials.

In March, Port Columbus International Airport completed a three-year, $80m terminal renovation, which included the addition of a new airport gateway.

"We had identified a return on investment that we expected to see for the life of this video wall, which helped to drive the final product selection."

Port Columbus International Airport business development manager for concessions David Saleme said: “We had identified a return on investment that we expected to see for the life of this video wall, which helped to drive the final product selection.

“The team reviewed several manufacturers, but we went with Delta’s 3mm LED display components. In person, they were stunning and clearly well-designed.”

Delta’s LED displays are said to feature smart module technology that ensures uniformity after they have been calibrated.
