Singapore Airlines and Deutsche Lufthansa have expanded their code-share agreement, which is expected to bring additional customer benefits to both airlines.
The agreement provides Singapore Airlines customers with access to 20 new codeshare routes on Lufthansa and Swiss-operated flights.
It also allows Lufthansa and Swiss passengers to obtain codeshare travel on SIA-operated flights on routes serving destinations in South East Asia and the South West Pacific.
Malaysia Airlines Berhad has entered into one of its largest codeshare agreements with Emirates Airline to provide customers with seamless, world-class travel.
As part of the agreement, the two airlines will unveil new routes covering 15 Malaysian cities, and frequent flyer benefits.
Emirates’ Skywards members and Malaysia Airline’s Enrich members will be able to accrue and redeem miles on all international and domestic flights operated by both airlines.

By GlobalDataAirAsia Berhad has agreed to issue 559m new shares to Tune Live at a price of MYR1.84 ($0.47) a share, to raise MYR1bn ($255.43m).
Following the transaction, Tune Live will increase stake in AirAsia from 18.9% to 32.4%. CIMB Investment Bank and Rhb Investment Bank are acting as financial advisers for the offering.
