By GlobalDataAero Engine Corporation of China (AECC) has awarded a contract to GKN Aerospace for the development of turbine rear frame (TRF).
Under the contract, GKN Aerospace will manufacture development parts for TRF at its facility in Trollhattan, Sweden.
Expected to be delivered next year, the TRF will be used for AECC-owned Commercial Aero Engine’s high-bypass turbofan jet engine programme.
Cranfield Aerospace Solutions and Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop aerospace and aviation engineering solutions.
The deal will also allow the two companies to establish joint working groups to identify proposals for joint programmes.
