FLIR Systems has announced the sale of notes due 2021 at an interest rate of 3.125% per annum, effective from 15 December this year.

The issue price represents 99.931% of the principal amount combined with accrued interest.

The offering is anticipated to be complete on 10 June, and will generate net proceeds of $425m.

FLIR Systems will use proceeds to repay its debt, as well as for its general corporate operations.

France-based Thales SA has announced the issuance of 0.75% fixed-rate bonds worth $667.39m in a public offering at a coupon rate of 0.75% a year.

Net proceeds generated from the sale of bonds, due June 2023, will enable Thales to repay its debt.
