Finnair and Japan Airlines have agreed to further expand their code-share tie-up on flights operated by the former between Fukuoka, Japan and Helsinki, Finland.

The code-share agreement will be effective from 7 May 2016, and provide more options to customers of both airlines.

Turkish Airlines and Air Algerie SpA, have signed a code-share agreement, which is expected to be effective from mid-May. The code-share will apply to routes between Algeria and Turkey.

The arrangement will enable the two airlines to place carrier codes on flights from Istanbul to Algiers and Istanbul to Constantine. The carrier codes will be placed on flights owned by both airlines.

Lone Star Funds, which previously held a minority stake in UK-based coach tour operator Shearings Holidays, has now acquired the remaining stake in the company.
