Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has secured four orders to deliver a total of 130 C919 passenger aircraft.
The orders have been placed by four Chinese aircraft leasing firms, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) subsidiary ABC Financial Leasing, a leasing subsidiary of China Nuclear E&C Group, Huabao Leasing, and AVIC International Leasing.
The latest orders have increased the total number of orders for C919 passenger aircraft to 730.
The European Space Agency has selected Arianespace for the launch of four new satellites.
As part of the deal, Arianespace will launch four satellites that are part of Europe’s Galileo satellite-based navigation system aboard two next-generation Ariane 62 rocket variants.
Scheduled to be launched between 2020 and 2021, the satellites will be deployed in two separate missions.

By GlobalDataSpaceflight Industries and Space Alliance have signed a pact for the development of Blacksky satellite constellation.
The deal will see Space Alliance, formed by Thales Alenia Space and Telespazio, make a minority investment in Spaceflight Industries.
Subject to the approval by necessary regulatory authorisations, the agreement will accelerate the development of the BlackSky constellation, which will comprise 60 small high-resolution observation satellites.
US-based company Velocys has been selected by British Airways to produce renewable jet fuel from household waste.
British Airways plans to use the fuel to power its planes.
The move will support British Airways’ aim to reduce its net emissions by 50% by 2050.
