CFM International has won an order from Delta Air Lines to supply CFM56-5B single-aisle commercial jet engines.

The engines to be supplied under the deal will be installed on 30 additional A321ceo jet aircraft operated by Delta Air Lines.

The Boeing Company has secured a $950m order from Icelandic airline Primera Air for the supply of eight 737 MAX 9 twin-engine jet airliners.

The contract provides the airline with purchase rights for an additional four 737 MAX 9s and allows it acquire up to eight aircraft from US lessor Air Lease Corporation.

The new aircraft will help expand Primera Air’s service on routes between Europe and North America.
