Air Canada and Oceanair Linhas Aereas (Avianca Brazil) have announced a code-share partnership to improve travel services in Brazil, beginning this month.

The agreement, which is subject to approval from the Canadian Transportation Agency, will allow Air Canada to put its AC code on Avianca Brazil flights to Brazilian destinations.

The destinations included in the agreement Rio de Janeiro Galeao, Brasilia, Salvador da Bahia, Sao Paulo Guarulhos, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Florianopolis and Recife.

Flybe Group has signed a code-share pact with Air India to enhance its services for customers travelling to long-haul destinations.

Singapore Airlines is negotiating a code-share agreement with passenger transport service provider Air France-KLM.

The agreement includes a possible extension of the Singapore Airlines-Air France service, with connecting flights from the countries’ capitals.
