Singapore Changi Airport served 4.46 million passengers in November 2013, up 2.3% compared with the same period last year.

During the first 11 months of the year, the airport has served about 48.6 million passengers, a 5.1% increase on-year.

The airport reported a 6.9% rise in air traffic to 29,500 flights for November 2013, with aircraft movements to-date at 312,800.

In the same month, Indonesia, Japan, and Malaysia have witnessed strongest travel demand among Changi Airport’s top 10 markets.

Traffic to and from Denpasar in Bali, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo also increased by more than 10% over the corresponding period in 2012.

Changi Airport has handled around 161,000 tons of cargo during November. It has handled nearly 1.7 million tons of cargo till date, up 0.9% compared with the same period in 2012.
