CAE has signed a C$55m ($53.7m) contract to deliver four Level D full-flight simulators (FFS) to Cathay Pacific Airways, Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence and Lufthansa Flight Training.

The new A320 simulator will be delivered to the Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence, a joint venture of AirAsia and CAE in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2012.

Gulf Aviation Academy will receive CAE 7000 Series A330 FFSs, which will incorporate a CAE Tropos-6000 visual system, and will be delivered in mid-2012 in Bahrain.

Cathay Pacific will receive a Boeing 777-300ER and a CAE Simfinity integrated procedures trainer (IPT), which will be delivered in 2012 to the airline’s training centre in Hong Kong.

CAE has been contracted by Lufthansa to deliver an Airbus A330 in 2012 and the CAE 7000 Series simulator, which will feature the new third-generation CAE Tropos-6000 visual system.
