US-based Boeing has handed over 73 commercial aircraft to 32 airlines and nine lessors worldwide last month.

This is the company’s largest delivery in a month, reported Atwonline.com.

China-based Xiamen Airlines added five new 737-800 aircraft to its all-Boeing fleet, while Boeing delivered five more aircraft to US company Air Lease.

The five aircraft delivered to Air Lease comprised three 737-800s, one 777-300ER and one 787-9 Dreamliner.

The plane maker received the largest commercial aircraft order from FedEx for six 767-300 freighters, worth $1.2bn at list prices.

The company delivered three 737 MAX 9s, valued at $350m at list prices, to Beijing-based carrier Okay Airlines.

A commercial aircraft order for a $264.6m 787-9 Dreamliner came from an unidentified customer.

In addition, four aircraft to Air China, Turkish Airlines and United Airlines have been delivered by the aircraft maker.

Other deliveries included three aircraft each to China Development Bank Financial Leasing (two 737-700s and a 737-800) and FedEx (all 767-300Fs).

Additionally, 787-8 Dreamliners were delivered to Ethiopian Airlines, Japan Airlines (JAL) and Air Europa, while 787-9 Dreamliners were supplied to British Airways, Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic, TUI Group and ILFC.

China Eastern Airlines, Korean Air, Qatar Airways, SWISS, Emirates Airline and EVA Air received one Boeing 777-300ER each from the company.

Boeing has so far supplied a total of 366 commercial aircraft.
