BIAL has unveiled new Playport at Kempegowda Airport, India

India-based Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has introduced the new Playport recreation area for passengers at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB).

India-based Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has introduced the new Playport recreation area for passengers at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB).

BIAL is a public limited company that owns and operates the Kempegowda airport.

The Playport aims to entertain passengers with a mix of traditional activites and modern gadgets.

Children will be able to play Snakes & Ladders and life-size Hopscotch, as well as PSP and Xbox games.

The Playport will also feature balloon sculpturing, magic shows, an upcycled goods workshop and tattoo artists.

"Through these activities it is our effort to engage with our visitors."

BIAL Airport Operations president Hari Marar said: "As an airport, we have constantly endeavoured to give our passengers and visitors an unparalleled travel experience.

"We encourage everyone to come and spend time here and make our airport a destination they can visit during the summer holidays.

"Through these activities it is our effort to engage with our visitors and make this experience a memorable one."

The area will be to open to passengers until 15 May.
