Airbus SE has integrated its group structure with its largest unit, Commercial Aircraft.

Last September, the company announced its reorganisation plan, which aims at making the company into a simpler structure that would enable faster decision-making and have less bureaucracy.

The greater collaboration and increased efficiency will also facilitate the digitalisation programme currently under implementation.

Along with the Helicopters and Defence and Space divisions, the newly merged Airbus will be served by fully integrated support teams with regard to finance, human resources, legal, ethics and compliance, strategy and international, as well as communications.

"This structure will also facilitate the digitalisation programme currently under implementation."

Airbus executive management team is integrated under CEO Tom Enders, while Fabrice Brégier is now the company-wide COO and president of Commercial Aircraft.

Harald Wilhelm will remain chief financial officer, Thierry Baril as chief human resources officer, and John Harrison as general counsel.
