Airbus has won a firm order from an undisclosed customer in Asia for the company’s ACJ319neo aircraft with delivery planned for the second quarter of 2019.
Claimed to be the first customer in the region, the Asian client is upgrading to the ACJneo family of business jets.

The engines and cabin outfitter for the new order are yet to be announced.
Airbus has so far secured six firm orders for ACJneo family aircraft since its launch less than a year back.
Airbus customers chief operating officer John Leahy said: "The farther you fly, the more important comfort becomes, and the increased range of the ACJneo Family means that customers can now enjoy unequalled comfort and space to even more of the world.
"Business jets are about making corporate and government executives more productive, and Airbus corporate jets now enable even more of that."

By GlobalDataThe ACJneo family features new fuel-saving engines, wingtip-mounted Sharklets and other enhancements for providing better fuel efficiency, greater range and a more modern jet compared with its counterparts.
Compared with traditional jets, Airbus’ ACJneo family features three times bigger cabin size and offers increased protection of fly-by-wire controls, category 3B automatic landing, and runway overrun prevention and onboard airport navigation systems (ROPS and OANS).
Feature similar external size and operating costs to the traditional business jets, the ACJ320neo aircraft, which can fly 25 passengers more than 13h and ACJ319neo can carry eight passengers over 15h.
More than 170 Airbus corporate jets are currently flying on every continent, including Antarctica.
Among the Asian countries, China currently has 20 Airbus corporate jets.
Since 2005, Airbus has been delivering ACJ320 family corporate jets to China.
